Stillwell-Hansen Leadline at Ride for Riverview

The Stillwell-Hansen leadline division is always a crowd pleaser at Ride for Riverview and the Monmouth County Horse Show. Held immediately before the Stillwell-Hansen Grand Prix in the Grand Prix ring, the leadline classes feature our youngest equestrians, showcasing their talent to a hugely supportive crowd of spectators.

The leadline division is only open to riders five years old or younger. Each child is led by an adult, and is judged on their form and position. Leadline is an opportunity for children to get a great introduction to the sport, learning safety, confidence, and the basic skills that every young equestrian must grasp before they advance. Many current equestrians began their careers as a small child being led around on a wonderful pony by a kind teacher!
